Physical Therapy Services:

•  Medicare Part B
  • We are participating providers with Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage PPO and Medicare Supplemental Insurance plans and will submit claims without requiring payment at time of service.   
  • Some supplemental or secondary insurances cover the deductible and 20% balance not paid by Medicare.  Others will require a co-payment or portion of the balance to be paid to the provider.  Please check your policy for details.
  • If you are currently receiving Medicare Part A or Home Health Agency services (i.e. nursing checks, therapy, IV's), or you wish to receive maintenance therapy services, we will be unable to bill Medicare Part B.  Self-pay payment options in this situation would still be available. 
• Most other Insurances/PPOs
  • Patients choose to see us for therapy services out-of-network because of the quality of our care and one-on-one sessions with our skilled licensed therapists.  While this may mean a slightly higher cost per visit, we can often achieve your goals in fewer visits with a targeted approach and lasting results.  If you use a PPO provider (with out-of-network benefits), we can file your insurance for you once your out-of-network deductible has been met.  Payment of the deductible (regular rates) is required at the time of service.
  • We offer a 30% prompt-payment discount on our rates for individuals who pay at time of service and will file for insurance reimbursement themselves.  We will gladly provide any superbill/statements and assistance with completing your forms.  This option is advisable for those with high deductibles and compares to our self-pay plan. 
  • We do not participate with most commercial insurance plans as they have either asked us to reduce our rates too low (which would compromise the standard of care we provide) or have blocked network access due to area saturation.
• HMOs
•         We are currently not in network with any HMOs.  This style of insurance policy typically will
•         not cover treatment provided by out-of-network providers.  Self-pay rates may apply in these
•         cases.

• Self-pay
  • Our standard self-pay rates are based on 15 minute increments for therapy services provided.  Prompt payment discounted rate of 30% for payment at time of service is available for clinic sessions (full price for home visits).  Self-pay sessions with our experienced, licensed physical therapists vary based on the length of the session and type of service provided.  One-on-one, hands-on treatment is provided.  Clinic rates (with 30% discount) are $94.50 for a 45 minute session and $126 for a 60 minute session.  Home visit/regular rates (Sanibel and Captiva) are $135 for a 45 minute session and $180 for a 60 minute session. 

• All Pilates sessions are provided by a Certified Pilates Equipment Instructor, utilizing our new Stott Pilates V2 Max Plus Rehab Reformer with tower, split pedal stability chair, BOSU and other equipment.  For those taking mat Pilates classes elsewhere, these sessions offer a terrific opportunity to experience the benefits of the Pilates equipment with a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Instructor. 
• Sessions are by appointment only subject to Pilates Instructor availablility.  Sessions book fast, especially between January and May, so please call (239) 395-5858 or e-mail us at info@islandtherapycenter.com at least 2 weeks ahead with dates you would like to receive services.
• Rates - Sessions are one hour in length.
  • Individual one session - $85
  • We offer multiple session discounts with $80/visit for 5 visits and $75/visit for 10 visits.   
     

Massage Therapy:

• Massage therapy services are performed by an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist or in certain cases, by a Physical Therapist. 
• Sessions are by appointment only and subject to therapist and room availablity. 
• Massage therapy sessions are provided in our relaxing and comfortable private therapy room.
• Rates - rates for licensed massage therapists are based on time.  Our therapists provide various styles of massage therapy including Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation and manual lymphatic drainage detoxification. 
  • 25-30 Minute - $50 (area specific, i.e. back and neck only)
  • 50-60 Minute - $99
  • 80-90 Minute - $145
  • Home or rental facility on Sanibel - 60 min - $120
  • Home or rental facility on Captiva - 60 min - $145-$160
